ANTICIPATED TEACHING ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Amherst Middle School

HOURS: 32.5 Hours/Week

START DATE: September 8, 2026

SALARY: $19.50/hour

DESCRIPTION:

The Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need, and assist with required paperwork in the classroom. The Teaching Assistant will perform duties inside and outside of the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching Assistants Must Have Teaching Assistant Certification or NYS Teacher Certification
• Must be fingerprinted through the New York State Department of Education- Fingerprint Procedure - attached
