SCHOOL NURSE (RPN) -2026 SUMMER SKILLS PROGRAM-HIGH SCHOOL
LOCATION: Amherst Central High School
ANTICIPATED HOURS: 9:00AM - 1:00PM (Monday - Thursday) - 16 hours/week
SALARY: $36 /Hour
START DATE: July 8, 2026
DATES OF PROGRAM: July 8, 2026 - August 6, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid RN license - license MUST be scanned in and attached to your application.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications
- Administering student medications and completing required paperwork
- Demonstrate excellent communication and telephone skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Be effective in handling emergencies
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be professional, kind, caring and patient in working with students, parents and staff
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure attached
