LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE  AIS READING TEACHER (Grades 6-8)

LOCATION: AMHERST MIDDLE SCHOOL

SALARY: $160 per day

START DATE: August 27, 2025 through November 20, 2025 (tentative dates)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • NYS Reading Specialist/Literacy certification preferred

**Examples of specific certification(s) include, but are not limited to:

Reading (K-12), Literacy (K-12), Special Education(K-12); or Elementary (K-6) combined with English (7-12) 

  • Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure attached
