Experience working with elementary students preferred Experience is helpful, but not necessary Willing to train as a backup server and backup cashier Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure-attached Uniform Allowance, Fingerprinting reimbursed after 1 year of employment, paid sick, personal and snow days. Food Service Helper - HS	07082025FSH/HS	FOOD SERVICE HELPER (10 -MONTH) SALARY: $16.50 per hour HOURS: 9:00am - 2:00pm (25 hrs/week) -School Days Only LOCATION: AMHERST HIGH SCHOOL START DATE: September 2, 2025 DUTIES and QUALIFICATIONS: Cashing out students and staff during meal service Minor Food Prep ( Preparation of deli sandwiches) Train as back up Cook Learn Bank deposit procedures Assist with caterings Use of kitchen equipment such as slicers, food processors, etc. Must be able to lift 40 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Must be able to understand, read, write and speak the English language Must be a team player.
