Substitutes needed for High School, Middle School, and Elementary Schools. Interviews to be held at Amherst Central High School, 4301 Main St., Amherst, NY 14226 on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Use TEACHER/ADMIN Application @ amherstschools.recruitfront.com for:
- All Teachers (Certified and Non-certified)
- Teaching Assistants, including Special Education
Use SCHOOL RELATED PERSONNEL Application @ amherstschools.recruitfront.com for:
- School Nurses (RPN)
- Teacher Aides, including Special Education
- Food Service Helpers
- Laborers
Start Date: Commencing 2026-27 school year
Qualifications/Certifications:
- Teachers and Teaching Assistants must be New York State certified
- All positions must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education before employment processing (see Fingerprinting Instructions attached)
