Job Description

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE ENL TEACHER - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

START DATE: September 1, 2026  through November 24, 2026 (tentative dates)

LOCATION: Windermere Boulevard School

SALARY: $160. per day

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be NYS certified in ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages)
• Dual-Certified Candidates with ESOL and Literacy (All Grades) certification encouraged to apply
• Experience with integrated and pull-out ENL services preferred
• Planning with and supporting general education staff
• Knowledgeable of current Part 154 regulations
• Experience working in an elementary setting preferred
• Experience working with English Language Learning (ELL) populations preferred
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education prior to start of employment (See attached)
