MIDDLE SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER
START DATE: September 1, 2026
LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
SALARY: $42,426. - $54,014. (new rates under negotiation)
DESCRIPTION: Amherst Middle School is seeking dynamic candidates for a full-time probationary technology teaching position. Successful candidates must be student-centered, collaborative, and engaging. Additionally, candidates must currently hold, or be working toward, NYS certification in one of the following areas:
- Technology
- Trade and Technical Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS Technology Education certificate; Adjacent CTE certifications will also be considered (Business, Health Science, FACS, Agriculture, etc.)
- Prior experience in a Middle School setting preferred, but not required
- Must be fingerprinted though the NYS Department of Education prior to start of employment Fingerprint Procedures-attached
