ANTICIPATED TEACHING ASSISTANT - SPECIAL EDUCATION
LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
HOURS: 32.5 Hours/Week
START DATE: April 27, 2026
SALARY: $19.00/hour, plus payment for additional credit hours, if applicable
- TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION OR WORKING TOWARDS EITHER OF THESE CERTIFICATIONS.
- Experience working with secondary students preferred (6-8)
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education- Fingerprint Procedure -attached
DESCRIPTION:
Assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities and assist with required paperwork in classrooms.
