Hours: 13.75 hours per week

Description:
Windermere is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Cafeteria Monitor/Teacher Aide to support in supervising the cafeteria during school lunch periods. The successful candidate will be expected to exercise good judgment, exhibit considerable skill in interacting with children, and perform various job related responsibilities as designated by building leadership.
Key Resposibilities:
- Monitor student behavior and ensure safe, orderly, and positive environment during lunch periods
- Assist with the distribution of food and manage any issues that arise in the cafeteria setting
- Exercise good judgment in managing student behavior and providing support as needed
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education prior to start date (fingerprint procedures attached)
- Experience working with elementary students preferred.
