                                                                                      CLERK TYPIST

                                                                         PART-TIME 10 MONTH POSITION

SALARY:  $17.35/Hour

HOURS:   8:00AM - 12:00PM (Mon. - Thurs.), 8:00AM - 11:30AM (Fri.) - 19.5 hours/week

LOCATION: Amherst Middle School (Main Office Reception Desk)

START DATE:  May 6, 2026 

DESCRIPTION / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure
• Civil Service non-competitive position (no civil service exam required)
• Clerical experience/knowledge
• Experience with Google platform preferred
• Detail oriented/Organized
• Good written and oral communications
• Ability to communicate effectively/cooperatively with others

Typical work activities:

• Answering Phones
• Assist with organizing sub coverage
• Maintain weekly school newsletter
• Various other office tasks as needed
