LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
SALARY: $42,426. - $54,014. (new rates under negotiation)
START DATE: September 1, 2026
DESCRIPTION: Amherst Middle School is seeking dynamic candidates for a full-time probationary CTE teaching position. Successful candidates must be student-centered, collaborative, and engaging. Additionally, candidates must currently hold, or be working toward NYS certification in one of the following areas:
- Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS)
- Business
- Computer Science
- Agriculture
- Health Science
- Technology
- Trade and Technical Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have or be working toward NYS certification in FACS, Technology, Business, Computer Science, Agriculture, Health Science, or Trade and Technical Education
- Prior experience in Middle School setting preferred, but not required
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education prior to start of employment Fingerprint Procedure-attached
