SCHOOL NURSE (RPN) -2024 SUMMER SKILLS PROGRAM- MIDDLE SCHOOL
LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
ANTICIPATED HOURS: 8:30AM - 10:30AM (Monday - Thursday) - 8 hours/week
SALARY: $36 /Hour
START DATE: July 9, 2024
DATES OF PROGRAM: July 9, 2024 - August 1, 2024
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid RN license - license MUST be scanned in and attached to your application.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications
- Administering student medications and completing required paperwork
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Be effective in handling emergencies with working knowledge of office equipment
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be professional, kind, caring and patient in working with students, parents and staff
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure
