TEACHING ASSISTANTS - SUBSTITUTES

SALARY:  $17.11/hour 

START DATE:  Applications accepted continuously

• TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION
• MUST BE FINGERPRINTED THROUGH THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PRIOR TO START DATE (fingerprint procedure)

JOB SUMMARY: A Teaching Assistant assists with instruction and classroom management under the supervision of the classroom teacher.   Assists in conducting classroom activities that enhance the opportunity to develop skills within and outside the classroom.
